When to start feeding kibble to kittens?
Introducing kibble to the diet of small cats is an important step to ensure their healthy and balanced growth. Usually, you can start introducing this type of food gradually around the fourth week of life. However, the transition must be managed carefully and gradually, taking into account the evolving nutritional needs of puppies.
A useful tip is to start replacing little by little breast milk or wet food with kibble, paying attention to the puppy reactionsand always accompanying the food with an adequate quantity of fresh water.
The first months of life are fundamental for the development of kittens. During this stage, their digestive system is still developing and the mother provides breast milk which is rich in essential nutrients. Once they have passed the stage of weaning, it is essential to choose kibble specially formulated for smaller cats.
Alcat® Kitten Biscuits: A Rich and Balanced Diet
Although cats are essentially carnivorous animals, they also require plant elements, especially during development, necessary to maintain vitality and well-being in these early stages of growth.
For this reason, our kitten cat biscuits contain:
- animal proteins– chicken is the main ingredient
- vitamins
- mineral salts
- fructoglycsaccharides for the well-being of bacterial flora
In addition to chicken, in fact, other ingredients used arerice, a highly digestible cereal, and the yucca schidigera, which mitigates the odor of feces and litter.
